Silversvt,

What type of wheels are on that VW. I like them. Do they come in 4-108

Justin

- HKS Turbo Timer
- The best suspension that Bilstein makes...
- Everything that Neuspeed makes for VW...

Last time I drove it, I was spinning the 235 rubber in 3rd gear when the boost was coming on. We dynoed it at 275lb/ft of torque and nearly 300hp.

On the highway it pulls more from 40mph to 80mph in 5th than my SVT in 3rd. Very embarassing.

Then again, throw the same amount of $$ at a 'tour and you'll be passing him. Only difference: nothing breaks on his car, even with that kinda power. All the 3.0 or s/c tours have had failures of some sort. That's over-engineering against cost-cutting I guess.

i'd take a Jetta and a GTI for the price of those cars.

but if $50k were like $20k is to me, i'd go with the Audi.

This fine example belongs to my best friend, it's SO much faster than my SVT I'm almost ashamed of my car. Chris H, where is that turbo kit?!? laugh And those are really 19's he's running. With Bilstein PSS9 coilovers. Etc etc...

That MAY be true. BUT, you could also chip and bigger intercoolers on the S4 and be at ~380 HP. just look at the RS4, it's almost the same under the hood.
Or, you could get an A2 VW, throw the 1.8t and the K05 and custom intercooler in and for ~$15k you have a 2000lb car with 280+ FWHP.

i can't believe the kind of VW praise i'm hearing in here. especially because it's not coming from me! eek damn do i miss my GTi.
laugh

oh, and S4s don't cost 50k. just look on ebay. my friend just sold his for ~$30k (not that i could afford one in either case, soon my friends!)
i'm saving for an S4 avant. can i get a he11 yeah? cool

The M3 and S4 pics aren't loading for me but the GTI is. I really like GTI's That silver one is awesome. I'd remove the door ding strips though. Everything else is perfect.
