Sorry John. I didn't mean to make it seem I was coming down on your tires. I just cus them every time I get on it a bit. It's one of the very few things that have ever pissed me off about driving Silvie, other than the obvious spun bearing at SZ this year, but that was a one time thing... HEAR THAT SILVIE, ONE TIME THING!

You guys should check into Toyo T1-s. I bought them off ebay for $100 each w/shipping and they are an awesome combinationg of Apperance and Performance. (Also have the curb protection) I have yet to take a corner and hear them squeal, and I drive like a maniac sometimes. I only wish I stuck with a 45 profile instead of the 40 I have and went with a little wider 225(I have 215) but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. I have heard good and bad story's from the Kuhmo, I know a guy who swears by them. In fact when I took my Toyo's in to get them mounted they tried saying that he could have sold me the Kuhmo's cheaper ( I hate it when they do that) I simplied smiled and said if I wanted the Kuhmo's I would have bought them, and certainly not for the $165 each you sell them for! Can you believe that ****! $165 each and he was gonna cut me a deal for $135!!! oh well.. Sorry for rambling I tend to do that sometimes! Plus I'm board! Seriously though check into the Toyo's..great Tire! Later Justin

My next tire will just not be from the "econo" section of the all out performance tires. I wasn't going to do it, but they were getting all of the good reviews and at barely over $100 per tire, how could I pass it up? Rim saver bead, good tread wear, great dry and wet traction (NOT!)Perhaps another Bridgestone Potenza or ??? next time.

Before that, I had Goodyear GTIIs, which REALLY sucked. (came on the car) And lets not mention the worn Pep Boys tires. Trust me, if I had the money, I wouldn't be buying the Kumhos either. But $40+ per tire more is quite a bit. Most people seem to love the T1-Ss, but I they don't make it in the 215/45-17 size. I don't want to go wider because I'd rub like crazy. I think it's a win or lose situation with the Kumhos. Some love 'em, some hate 'em. I'm somewhere in between, but again, for the money I won't *****. John

This turning into a tire thread, but what the hell...
I have kumhos (225/50/16). I like them. They look awesome, are VERY confortable, straight line traction is good, lateral traction is OK. For this price, and with a 340 wear rating (V rated for me hey) I don`t think you can do better. Sure the T1-S are awesome, but with the 220 wear rating, you may be leaving a few bucks in every sharp curve. Of course, I`m coming off firerocks, so what do i know....

I really like your car alot. Heres an idea for you. Either get the red Ford emblems or put the stock one back on, cover up the logo with some high quality vinyl tape and order the little SVT emblem from the 94-95 Lightning/Cobra. Make sure you order it from Bill Jenkins. Again its one of the sweetest Tours in the CEG Roger R

I was thinking of doing that, but I've got some other things I need to take care of first. Like getting more mods. Aussie sway bar, here I come. John
