Just take some fishing string and peel em off.. there is nothing but smoothness under there (after you get the sticky **** off).

be aware that some people have removed their door dings and had some clear coat go along with it.. leaving an undesirable line on the paint. However, most people haven't experienced that.. including myself. Other than that... nothin to worry about.

Take it from a paint guy: this is a simple procedure. If there is any adhesive residue left on the door, 3M sells an adhesive and pinstripe removing wheel that will bold right onto a drill. That wheel will make the task of removing that crap a whole lot easier. Also, use a heat gun to warm the adhesive up before peeling the old trim off. This should keep you from taking the clear coat off as well. wink
