maybe it would have a chance if it had a GT engine and a new name like "2002 Ford Ricey Mustang 281", ford could make a new division. But with a six and that silly pipe and holes for some big $ss tips it is the stupidist car i have ever seen.

peace

So what classifies this car as being rice? I have a good buddy that has a nice 99 V6 stang. Its black with razzi gfx, SVO hood, dual borla exhaust, altezza clear tail lights, clear hearlights, CAI system, underdrive pully, chrome cobra rims, and few more mods. His car is so awesome looking. If you saw this car, it looks like it would take any car and put it in his dust. His reasoning for purchasing a V6 was because of the cost for payment, and the HIGH HIGH price of insurance. A V6 car is much much cheaper for insurance than any V8 performance/sports car would be. Well, just some food for thought. Thanks smile

Did you not read the post three above yours? It's the stupidity involved that makes it rice. The fugly Altezza style lights? Only my subjective opinion. V6 single exhaust? Maybe he didn't have the money right away. The rims are kinda nice, but again my opinion only.

The rice part is exactly stated as such "Unpainted body kits, fully installed are RICE because it's easier and cheaper to paint off of the car. There, stupidity.

see www.riceboy.com for a full definition of the terms.

In the old days, a tacky modded car was a "primermobile". Any 60's/70's RWD car with cut-out muffer, no hubcaps, and painted all primer. To see cars like that, just pick up a Car Craft Magazine.

2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

The kit is on unpainted probally b/c it was being test fit before painting it. Any fiberglass bumper should be installed before it is taken to the body shop for paint. once proper fit is ensured then it is removed and painted. the car will look nice when it is done. i agree he should have bought the gt but who knows what reasons were involved for buying the v6. maybe he could not get insurance on the gt?

Um...Mystical? Since when is the mustang FWD? And, I'm seein' 2 nice wheels on the left side of the car.
I'm just going to say this about the car. I'd like it more with a V8, and I wouldn't spend money on a body kit unless I was buying a Saleen.

ummm derk2000, read the post again!

notice the very first line; Culprits: civics, integra's and now Mustangs. Last time I checked civics and integra's were FWD. And then I say at least this mustang hasn't done this.
