hehe, well I was going to post a reply but it looks like someone modified my message box.... The color is Chameleon Blue Clearcoat Metallic Yes, its bone stock....kinda... Yes, ATX.... What I was looking for was a reaction...looks like I got it.... Anyway.....now that everyone knows me, let me do a little research on your cars and see what a future decision I have to make will be. As stated Probe take a TON of money to keep them running.... If I can find a more cost affective car to accomplish my goals.... I think ill drop the probe and go a diffrent direction...

Not sure the Contique is going to be cheap to maintain. They do have their own quirks. Most aren't too expensive to repair. But, I can say this. They are cheap to buy used. 3 year old SVT's with 40k miles for $10-12k. V6 manuals for under $8000.

Three years ago smoked a 94 Probe GT with my old 88 Cavalier Z24 atx (K&N filter only mod) in Windsor. Great race, but in the end I won! (kind of) because a cop radar'd me going 120 in a 50 up Ouellette Street. The probe took one route and I took another when we seen the cherry's go on. My route was the wrong way obviously because I was issued a summons to attend court on the charge of racing. In the end it cost me $900 and 4 points. Up side, I kicked the Probe's a** . When looking for a new car I did however check out the Probe but was completely displeased with it's performance. So, with better performance I chose my Sique. Bottom line, not what they are cut out to be.

Hmm, ok I guess noone modified my reply box...looks like my computer is buggin. First of all guys I didnt mean any disrespect. I know if you as die hard of a countour fan as I am/was A Probe fan then I would have got agravated too, I gues I wasnt thinking about that....Come to think about it I dont know what the hell I was thinking. Boy, do I give one hell of a first impression. And you beat a Probe GT in a cavilier? Wow, nice..... Stock a PGT tops out at around 137 miles an hour... So if you can still gain speed after than...you would pull away easily.. I am looking at a '98 GL for 8,000k and im ssearching on what to expect. I did test drive it, and it was peppy but it wasnt what Im use to.. The probe has a nice even power flow due to our VRIS system. The GL seems to have a great bit of torque at lower RPM's but lacked something up top..... Also there is NO aftermarket support for a PGT....Is that the same story with a Tour?... And to all you guys that want to run.... nawww... I dont think I could push her over 3 MPH so it would be an easy race.. Timming belt decided to go....and she has been sitting ever since. no major problem. I just dont have time right now to fix it. Anyways, excuse the ignorance... Sorry for the post..
