Man, I can't believe it. They finally did it. Before, the Bacon Brigade couldn't pull you over for not wearing your seat belt, they had to stop you for something else first. Well, guess what kiddies?!?! Now they can. I come to find out that it passed on the same bill that made it illegal to pass a cruiser that's pulled over while in the adjacent lane. Did ya know about that one? Making that one simple, if a cop has someone pulled over on the left burm, you can't pass him in the lane right next to him (the 'fast' lane).

I lived in Oklahoma when they passed the seat belt law, but it was one they did not enforce. I watched a cop at a light looking at a couple with their kids jumping around backseat, when light turned green he went on with his buisness. This was the day the law went into effect. I wouldn't worry about it.
