i'm wondering some prices on a couple things if you wouldn't mind.I need a price on a stereo installation kit for a 2000 Escort ZX2 and i'm wondering if you could get ahold of the keys to take out the factory stereo.*2 holes on each side of HU* Thanks

I've got the keys... you can buy them for next to nothing at AutoZone and Pep Boys.. As far as installation kits.. Bill would be your way to go... although that integrated control unit deal they have on them can be a little challenging to install.

yeah thats what i'v been told but i'm pretty damn good at installing stereos and undercar neons.Electrical work is kind of fun now that i know how to do it.Hell i didn't know you could buy the keys at Autozone and sh*t, thats cool.I was just gonna install it myself cuz the cheapest we could find was $70 at CurcuitCity.All the local audio shops want like around $130 for the damn installation.Thats a ripoff if i ever saw one.

For keys, if you are real cheap, could be made out of a metal coat hanger, it works but not as well. I'll look into the kit, the harness is $5, the kit with the AC wont be too bad. I'll see what I can get it for.


BTW the heater/vent control is attached to that unit, you will have to play with the knob to get it back on. I did one of them (ZX2) and it wasnt too bad.
