I was reading about the ITS mod on the Zetecs and i also heard of ppl doing it on the 2.4 litre motor in my Z24 but noone ever remembers to say which wire to hook up the resistor to. On the Zetecs there is a solid colored wire and one with a stripe which makes it a little easier to tell which one is pos and neg but mine has 2 solid colored wires going in the ITS...one is grey and the other is a really light orange. On the website that shows how to do this it shows the resistor hooked up to the solid/pos wire.So would i hook it inline with the orange one in my 2.4? If you know the answer it would be appreciated. Thanks

Billy

Billy, EEC-V is totally different than CCC on GM Cars.. They distribute the information in a different way. The GM wiring has the resistor going in on the positive side, just like Ford's.. So if you have a multimeter.. Look for the 5 volt reference. I believe it is the light orange wire. But use the multimeter also just in case, I'm not super familiar with 99 on..
