I was cleaning underhood today and found a 12 gauge or so black ground wire cut off next to the power steering reservoir (passenger side). The screw attachment is still secured to the firewall, but 6-8 inches is dangling!
It looks like the wire came from the harness right there. What the heck is this for? Looks major. Should I unwrap the harness and resplice it or take to dealer and have them fix their boo-boo? (probably from rear O2 sensor replacement). Or leave it? I'm a bit hesitant to tear into the harness. Thanks group. ZZZ.

Actually they probably forgot to bolt it back on... It bolts from the firewall to power steering mount bracket... I have an extra one if ya need one.. In case yours is broken.. It's just another engine to body ground wire...(More useless redundancy on Ford's part)
