Looking like it's going to be Atlanta for sure...I'd love to see a '91 re-match! Too bad that would ruin the small market teams.

Reality.....
Yankees vs. Braves
Wishing....
Twins vs. Cards
I am a Yankees fan, but would love to see the Twins in the series just to stick it to MLB. Also, St. Louis is a great baseball city and they deserve a trip to the WS.

I'd also love to see the Twins vs. Cardinals. The Cards deserve a lot of respect for their ability to work through their grief and continue their pennant drive. And the Twins deserve respect to for coming back from the grave to lead the AL Central. Not that the AL Central is a respectable division at all, but the Twins are playing good baseball no matter what division you're talking about.
However, I think the reality will be the Braves vs. the YankMes. Especially if the YankMes win, it will pour a little more dirt onto baseball's coffin. If the Braves win it won't be all that bad because the core of their baseball team has been on the team for the last 5 years or so, and it would look less like they bought the team than it would the Yanks.
I want to see the Braves win it because I think they're on their last wind, and I'm a big fan of Glavine, Maddux, and Smoltz. Those players don't deserve to be labeled the Buffalo Bills of baseball, even though it's already kinda hard to avoid it.

Braves. I doubt it. Sure, they have won some 10 straight division titles, but they've only gone all the way like once. Mariner's are a great team for the long hauls, like last season when they won 116 games. But in short series they can choke. I'm gonna bet that the Dodgers...that's right, the Dodgers...will win the NL wild card race and will play New York in the World Series. I'm also going to bet the Dodges win, but it won't be easy. That's my guess.
