Wow...spoiled? Now, if I were "spoiled" I would have taken the Bravada and not cared. But I actually listened to what you guys said, and decided against it. Why not a Cavalier? Well, why would you go DOWNHILL when buying cars? That would be like my mom trading her 540i in for a Sable. Another thing, dont you guys ever drop things? That was last week, not this week. Learn from the past, Live in the present, Plan for the future. You're always telling me to grow up, I dont think telling someone to go away is exactly on the top of the "mature" list

moonlight,
most of the time I don't lower my self to your levels but your a F***IN DUMBA$$,IMHO you should get your B***H A$$ off this site and go some place like fordcontour.org and see if you get close as much help there as you could here.you yourself are as much of a waste of bandwidth as "off topic".I think that most would agree with my statement.

LANCE,CHRIS,any moderator please do something about him

You know guys, you all hold a grudge way to well. I read what he said about Lance and yes it was uncalled for and yes it was rather childish, but that is NOT a good reason to keep ripping the kid a new *******. Some of you guys need to grow up some, it's exactly this kind of childish b.s. that Lance is/was getting sick of and made him decide to kill the site. Moonlight said some idiotic and stupid, mean stuff to Lance yes, but that was the past, time has come to drop it. i haven't seen him post anything worthy of bashing since he came back on the site. In fact, I'd go so far as to say he's done quite a good job of maintaining his composure and maturity about all of your childish comments. This site is supposed to be about helping each other out, not trying to hold someone down, especially when they're just trying to learn about cars and stuff. you can't expect anyone to never make a stupid comment when they're just learning. Give the kid a break and just drop it, leave the past in the past. 'Nuff said.

Boy, just think of the down payment you'd have had if you traded in that goldmine of a Pontiac 6000 S/E-AWD-rarest-thing-on-4-wheels you have sitting in the driveway... they'd probably have had to stuff the glovebox of the Bravada with 100-dollar bills just to try and come close to evening out that trade... laugh

FWIW, I kinda agree with NorMich here. Moonlight seems to have matured some.

Moonlight, you should apoligize to Lance and the community for being an ass.

If he does, let's cut the kid some slack. He should agree with Lance that if he turns back into an ass, he is banned. If he does not turn back into a prick, maybe he did learn something.

We were all young once, and a lot of us were quite stupid at his age.

Just my .02.

And, it must be nice to have your mon want to buy you a $35k vehicle. I enjoyed driving my mom's 84 Monte Carlo SS, and bought dad's 84 S-10 for my own. Not even the same class. I give you some credit for wanting to do it own your own.

Thank you NorMich. Your rant is perfect.

Like GSRguy, Moonlight has matured quite a bit. Do I not like him? Sometimes, sometimes not. Depends on what he posts. wink

But it seems to be the same old "respected" people always holding the grudge that causes the catfights that holds down CEG!!

I'm 17 and I pay for my: car, gas, insurance and cell phone all by myself.
Car: [payment] - 350.00
Insurance: 260.00
Gas: 100.00+
Cell Phone: 50.00
Do the math, I work my ass off and it makes me sick to think about some ****in kid driving around a brand new 40,000 car that his mommy and daddy baught him. When you get older.. your mommy and daddy wont be there to buy you all of your ****, do it yourself, you'll learn a good lesson and appreciate it later in life. BTW, i'm only 17

Yeah, I've been looking for a job, but theres not much out there for a 15 year old. My girlfriend works for her parents, and they bought her a 2002 Grand Prix GTP, 2-door, black, loaded...and believe me, yeah it has power, but that thing is BIG! You can feel it's size in the turns. Yeah, I could work for my mom, but she's a doctor, what can I do to work for her? She's TRIED to get me a *small* job at the hospital, but theyre doing a BIG remodeling job, and "cant afford" to hire me  ...right...anyway school starts on the 26th ( mad ) and it's basically impossible to get work for after school/weekends unless your atleast 17, so there goes that idea. Another reason I didn't get the Bravada is because the Mystique gives me something to do. Theres always little things I can work on it with. But with the Bravada, it would be brand new, and what can you do to a luxury SUV? I mean, seriously, paint the brake calipers? Theres not much you can do to mod a brand new Old-mobile. And when you have nothing to do, thats when the trouble beings (drugs, alcohol...) Id rather keep busy with something worth while laugh
