I searched on this and read many posts, but nobody addressed the question I have. By removing the hoodliner, will the tubing that runs for the windshield wiper fluid be at risk to melt? When the hoodliner is on, the tubing is between the hood and the liner. Now with it off, the tubing is just right there out in the open.

Thanks

take it off it'll be fine. If anything it's cooler under the hood.

Not all Contiques come with hoodliners.
My '97 has one, my '98 does not; both of course are equipped with w/washers, no problems with tubing in either.

The tubing will not melt... go ahead and take the hoodliner off. Just do it.

My 99 doesn't have one. Warm Washer fluid is better anyway...

Engine Bay Light ????? eek eek eek

Darn decontenting. My engine bay light is in the glove compartment (uses 2 "C" cells). Hard to find because the Glove compartment doesn't have a light (yet) laugh laugh

wasn't the engine bay light always exposed, like mine? Your light couldn't have been between the liner and the hood. Do you mean the wiring for the light?
