In a fit of stupidity I stepped out of a moving golf cart, left leg went flying and I landed directly on my right shoulder. Having never dislocated the shoulder I'm not sure how it feels, but I did feel it go back in when I took my shirt off. If moved easier after that too. The only thing is I can feel swelling on the top of my shoulder and its very difficult to hold the arm up--i.e. socket doesn't hurt but the muscle/bone on top of the shoulder sure does. Then there is the knew. Never done that either. Movement is slow and restricted but relatively painless, relatively. I can walk on it but it ain't easy. Go to the dr. this afternoon for the bad news. frown

Not bad for typing with one hand! smile

that sucks man, I know how you feel. I've torn my ACL before, it wasn't fun. Also dislocated my kneecap in the same leg. I've had my fair share of injuries, worst being when I shattered my right elbow into about 15 pieces. That was the worst ever. Still have 5 screws and some wires in there holding it together. That was 3 years ago and it still won't straighten out! mad
Good luck to you! smile

Well there is always the left hand for the mouse!

Officially a 2nd degree separated shoulder ~6 weeks recovery frown The knee doesn't have ligament damage but is heavily bruised and swollen. Will know next week about the cartilage. So not too bad, considering,

When I was a sophomore in high school, I thought I blew my knee out for sure. Turned out I had a bone bruise and no ligament damage. I was only on crutches for about a month. Hope the MRI turns out as well as mine did.
