So mike,
do you think any of those problems with the SVT could be directly related to your Auto-x runs withthe car?
I have video proof of how you treated her!!!
you should be ashamed of yourself for treating such a pretty lady that way!!

Ummm, I treated her right. wink
Sometimes you just gotta be rough with the ladies, they like it laugh

Ya know, I drove her hard from time to time, but I did keep good care of her. And to tell the truth, I've actually had nothing but trouble from the day I bought it. Had my first issue with it within the first 30 minutes of getting it.

BTW, do you still have that video of the SZ AutoX? I'd like to get a copy of it if I can.

Thanks,
Mike

I just got a 1986 Suburban to supplement the SVT and get me and my girlfriend and 3 cats out to Arizona this fall. Check out www.chevytalk.com, lots of good stuff.

Too bad you did't get the Z71, but to each his own. I assumed it would be, I am more familiar with the Vail area out there with a ton of snow, AND in West "By Gawd" Virginia, you're not a man without the big Z71 sticker on the side. laugh Still sounds like a hell of a truck! And rest assured, they are realiable as hell, everyone I know with one is pleased as hell.

But I still say you'll be jonesin' for a quicker ride soon!

Yeah, I'm originally from the dirty south(Charleston, S.C.), So I know what the Z means.

I expected more people to flame me for going to the "dark side" wink
I just rolled over the first 1,000 trouble free miles this morning and expect about another 200,000 more.

I can't wait to start doing things to it though.
I went up against my roommate the other night at the track in his 97 Integra Type-R, and he just barely beat me. The truck is a little slow at first, being an automatic and all, but pulls hard all the way till about 80 or so. The 3.73 rear gears and about 320 ft lbs of torque really help
out, but I won't more. laugh
