Install A/V software on your machine, and update your sig's frequently

Use webmail or if you must use a fat client, try Mozilla (mozilla.org)

If you run outlook express, or outlook, you are a sitting duck unless you want to get freakish with your internet security settings.

Run Mozilla, and give open source a chance! You'll also get a pretty rockin browser too, which can disable crappy javascript popups as well.

ive been using that technique since i was 13 years old. and i didnt need anyone to tell me that. i never open emails, that have retarded subject lines. its gotten me with out 1 virus for over 2 years now. i had a virus b4, anti cmos.b it had i on a floppy. distroyed the floppy been virus free ever since.
