This morning at 2 or 3 am hawaii time, my friend got into an accident. He was street racing.. Honda Civic Vs Honda Civic as from what I heard. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt (the 4 passengers were), and he was also DUI. It was sad to wake up to a phone call like this. My mom called me while i was sleeping to tell me about it. It just doesn't feel right. Especially since out of the people he hung around with, he was the most mellow guy. We didn't even get a chance to go fishing yet.. I swear... i thought he knew better.. but i was wrong. I wish i was there to help..  edit: here's a clip about it.. it's the one with the 20 year old story

He must've had a death wish, along with his friends: 1)No seatbelt, 2) DUI, 3) racing. If the first doesn't kill you, the second will. And if not that, the third for sure. Be smart, people...

that completely sucks, someone I knew was killed in a car crash about a month ago, it just isn't right

So sad to hear about the senseless death of your friend. PLEASE spread the message that street racing OR driving drunk are NOT worth it!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. You and his family will be in my prayers. Drive safe everyone and let this be a lesson. We need to stop thinking "that won't happen to me" and start thinking that it could at any given moment.
