Terry,

Could you suggest any form of special maintance on my new 2002 Ford Winstar? Like anything to keep an eye on, or a DMD or something. This van has got to last me.

Did they replace the 3.8 w/ a Duratec?

No, not yet. I still have that same engine in my 2000 also. A lot of power 200hp, 212 ft lbs IIRC, but also a lot of noise, vibration, and harshness. I'm thinking of picking up a set of 1.8/1 full roller rockers from http://www.moranav6racing.com/, mostly because I am hoping to reduce some of the vibration and harshness, and hope to get a few more MPG out of her at the same time. They go for $350 US a set. According to the company, they will not cause any piston to valve clearance issues.
