This is exactly what I did. I know I would have never got 14K for my car, so I sold it for 11K with just the appearance mods.

Antonio, you will have to sell at a lower price. there really isn't a market for CSVT's.

Exactly, man... part that thing out. I've seen people try and sell cars that have been modified and they always have trouble. You can total the cost of all your mods and divide that number by zero to find what you're likely to recoup from them. There are PLENTY of parts vultures here that would be happy to get their paws on some of that stuff on your car (and I saw it at SZ so I know how nice it is)... Flood the classifieds with parts!!!!!!!!! laugh Good luck, man.

I wish it were true, because any number divided by zero is Infinity.

I doubt you would get infinite dollars for your mods.

More accurately, one should say, multiply by zero. We all know any number multiplied by zero is zero.

Not everybody has a problem with modified cars. Hell I just bought one myself! I think there are people out there who dream of owning an awesome car like Antonio's, but who have no clue as to how they should go about building it. Those are our potential customers.

I'm also having no luck from the classifieds trying to sell my car... I've been able to generate a lot more interest from word-of-mouth, good friends of mine talking to people, etc..

..now I figure I've still got a ways to go before I see a deposit on this thing, but I'm keeping my hopes up. Parting it out is useless if you've been modding things as they broke. What am I gonna do, reinstall my busted OEM suspension & warped seized brakes?? Pleeease...

So I must have missed the post, but what's the deal with the car now that the engine blew? I'm assuming you don't have an extended warranty and have to foot the bill yourself?
