Well i finally got the water pump replaced. I was just curious about one thing. How many people have done this themselves and how many have gone to a shop to have it done, what was the overall cost for everything. I just got my car out of the shop and it was 370.18 dollars, the water pump, thermostat, timing belt, serpentine belt, tensioner pully, antifreeze and oil change was all done to my car in one working day. IMO thats one hell of a deal.

You must have the Zetec, based on what you said was done to your car.

Yes, I think that was a heck of a deal. The Zetec pump is much harder to do that the Duratec pump.

When I had the one done on my Zetec last year, it was $320. WP/timing belt, and coolant.

Yesterday, when I replaced the one that was done last year ( mad ) it took me six hours, but cost $96.
