I tried to do the same thing when some guys were leaning on my car outside my apartment, but the range on my remote sucks, so it didn't work You might try this altough it looks odd. When you press the panic button, extend your arms out, as if you were being crucified. Your arms and body become a parabolic reflector. I thinks it's good for 2-3 more feet in range

people are just becoming more and more disrespectful. i would've thought I was hallucinating had I come out to my car and people actually had the nerve to be touching it. your car is your property and since the police aren't going to be any help in this situation, I see nothing wrong with handling it yourself.

To extend the range, and perhaps look like LESS of an idiot, than being crucified, err... well.. maybe more.... You can place the transmitter to the underside of your chin, against your bone, and your skull/jawbone will also radiate the waves further... though I DID just say skull and radiate in the same sentence, huh? Either way, they both work, so don't laugh at either of us..

I had an RF Engineer from Ford (working on X-type's RKE) tell me that they tested that and it does in fact increase range. They were joking about putting that in the owner's manual because they were having trouble with the right hand drive model's range. They didn't think Jag would go for it.

Ray Somehow I don't like using the idea of using my head as a transmitter. Seems like there is bound to be a Surgeon General's Warning about that someday...

When those morons sit on your car wearing jeans,,,they definitely can do damage. The jeans have those brass little clasp thingies that scratch pretty well...In NJ eons ago, I had a guy pay me to have that stuff buffed out, or i would call his insurance company. He did pay...
He's chaaarging!!!...(add scottish accent)...

Put on one of those mesh metal shark suits and do a Federal Wildlife Marshall, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back style, slid across their hoods. BONG! -Andy

Now where's that rubbing compound...

...then i realize i have the panic button on my remote. well, this seems like a panic situation... I have thought about doing this also if someone gets to close to my car I saw some guy at work nearly running out the door just about jump on a persons car, he hit it so hard it started rocking, personally I would have killed the guy for doing that..... you don't mess with a persons car
