Hey.. and welcome to the boards... congrats on having a 'tour (no I won't mention the fact that it is an SVT laugh laugh wink , because I have much love for the non-SVT's too... prior owner..lol)

I am sure you will find any help you need here, from the collective genius of the many owners that are around.. On the top right of the "Forums" page, there is a link to "Search".. that is always the best place to start, as (almost assuredly) someone has asked the same question before, and will most likely be easily found..
Search (Clicky)

Once again, welcome, and enjoy.. (be sure to check out your local chapter of the CEG, which can be found on the list of Forum topics, towards the bottom..)

Check out the NE-CEG forum, we have a guy in MA that makes em up, he goes by Elky, you may have seen his name around.

Also, welcome to the club, we're having a get together on the 19th, check the NE-CEG branch for details!

Yep- i hear it is very easy- buy a sheet of mesh and it just takes a little time. I am doing mine next week- or you could spend all that money and have someone do it for you.

Hey everybody,

I'm new, but not exactly--I was on the CEG mailing list for a long time a while back, before this cool new forum thingy. Still got my Contour, still love it, still haven't done all the mods I coulda/shoulda/woulda. She's 106k miles old now...better late than never!

ANYWAY, about this mesh grill thing... I want to take a stab at it with my car, but I'm wondering--how do you fasten the screen material down? drill holes and screws/bolts/nuts, epoxy,....anyone? Also, what's the best looking, longest lasting, etc. material to use? Thanks for any feedback.
