It is about the size of a small orange juice can! What is it for and do we need it? Can we just run a straight hose in place of it? ContourST 96' SE atx dual exhaust thf kkm

It's about $60 and replaces that tank resonator with a straight hose and replaces the IAC to fix the moosing problem.
