see what you have to do is get in with the local prosecuting attourney. HA HA HA any ticket that the coppers give you (if my buddy @ dispatch or his mom- also at dispatch) doesnt tell the guy to piss off- I know the city attourney and he will "plea bargain" with me - thats how I got my 27 in a 25, and no reg, down to 6 months probation- period- nothing else!

Do yourself a favor and do a search. EDIT: And as far as police earning an average of 100k/yr, I'm calling BS. The only link even remotely close to that claim on the site you provided, which I could find, is: http://www.newsday.com/ny-over0618.story That article states that the average for the ~50 top earners, as a result of Sept 11, was over 100k, and that the vast majority of those were Police civilian employees. Thus, they do not carry a badge or gun, and enforce no laws. Get your facts straight before you try to troll here again. Now go play somewhere else.

Oh please, if regular ol' cops made 100k a year then I would be a COP!!!!! I have no doubt that cop managment types make good money, especially in the larger areas but the ticket writing types? No way.

Don't you understand man?! Those cones and orange signs are doing all the work!!
I don't agree with the work zone being enforced 24/7 but I don't have any say in the law.
I am getting screwed by NYS for several things right now, you have my sympathy.

Umm yea, and there are lots of things I could do because I can, but you know what? I have these things called "morals" that get in the way. Brian Originally posted by 00contourse: Cops break the law for the same reason a dog licks his balls--because he can.
