Uh oh. Most roads have a peak in the middle and angle off to the right for drainage. There are plenty of 2 lane roads where you must correct the steering to compensate for this. Wide tires aggrevate the problem and natural grooves in the asphalt from trucks, etc, will wreak havoc on cars with wide tires. Still, it seems like a quality control problem of some sort for the alignment to be that screwed up.
I hope Ford has not stepped on it again.

I dont think I would be able to keep my cool like this guy has. I would definately make sure that GT Vert loaner car had a TON of miles on it when they got it back.

Yes, I am aware of the thread you linked. Definately a "one-off" occurance, and the likelyhood of it being due to the new Cobra content of the car is extremely unlikely, especially considering that the new tires were completely ruled out.
All I can say is that SVT will be getting hte car back and they will study the root cause of the problem can be found and steps will be taken to so that it doesn't happen in the future.
It's all about balance.

I certainly wouldn't want to have to write that 8D. But I imagine this will not be of the type that are rubber stamped and then filed away, never to be seen again (like most of the ones I have written).
