i have never used it before and it seems like everyone else does so can someone please explain to me how this works. i would really apperciate it. thanks

It's like an electronic bank account, but without FDIC insurance, and without customer service. You give em your normal bank account info and credit card info, and then you can deposit funds into your PayPal account from those places (only people with business accounts can accept money that you deposited with your credit card, and there is a processing fee). Then you can transfer the funds to other people, or they can send you money and you can put it into your bank account.

it's very useful especially when purchasing items over the net.
like ebay items for example.

Not true,I dont own a buisness and get money from peoples credit cards all the time.

Then you either have a premier account or a business account (for my explanation, it didn't matter whether it was a business account or a premier account, as it was just an explanation for someone new to the service.)
