mystique is in the shop and parents are on vacation so i get mom's turbo beetle for 2 weeks :p . it has no pedal or shifter feel when compared to a contique, you can't hear the exhaust, and it bounces up and down a lot. about the only things it has going for it over a contique is the turbo sound and that girls love it. it is basically a chick car. it doesnt like to go over 75, and when you find the switch to pop out the spoiler it likes to put it away again right away. just makes me want the mystique back, i guess.
1995 Mercury Mystique GS 2.0L Zetec, MTX 10% dents all around its not my fault its teal!!! it was cheap!

i raced a turbo bug when they were doin the turbonium ads last spring (spring 01) .... a green one. 5 spd... my v6 atx se (bone stock aside from springs and kkm then) walked away from him once i hit 3rd gear (70mph) like he was standing still... but they'd be a fun tuning car.. if i didnt have to buy it :p
my neighbors got one with a nice little body kit (subtly different than stock but its not a tubo) i just want to run over there and put on coil overs and 18's then call it mine :p
