Mitsubishi powered cars are hit and miss. Some are POS. Others like my Colt Vista are still running even after years of service (albeit burning a bit of oil). From what I hear, 1st Generation DSM sport coupes (like the 1991 Eclipse) tend to be a bit more reliable than the later ones. I knew a guy who had a Gen 1 Talon and loved it and the only reason he sold it was that he got married and inherited 2 stepkids (little room for growing kiddo's in the back of a Talon). Make sure it's been taken care of if your serious about purchasing it. Although, that lesson is for ALL cars.
