I'd suggest dropping the GPA. No offense, but 3.25 is nothing to brag about. I leave my 3.0/4.0 off my undergrad section for the same reason, and will probably leave it off my grad section when I graduate. If they want to know, they'll ask during the interview.

Now, if you had like a 3.9 or 4.0, I'd say leave it.

Might want to add a list of a few courses you took in the Education section, especially if they are directly related to the job you are applying for. Adds a little meat to that section, and answers the obvious question: "What courses did you take?"

don't put your pay rate on your resume from past jobs.
it looks weird and looks like you're too concerned about what you'll be paid.

also, you want to have everything worded in the same tense.
some of your job descriptions are in past tense and some aren't. make them all be worded in the past tense.

I personally don't see any need for an "Objective" line. My thinking is an applicant will customize it for whatever job they're applying for, so it's redundant.

The nice thing about having work experience is that you don't have to list your GPA anymore.

Pay rate shouldn't be included unless asked for.

Performed moves, adds and changes. Project management, as well as being key member in large operations. Pay Rate: Twelve dollars per hour.
How about:
Project manager. Key member of large operations. Performed moves, adds, and changes.

Set up local area networks. Terminate category five cable and fiber optic backbones
connecting intermediate distribution frames to main distribution frames. Set up aerial
fiber optics connecting local area networks. Pay Rate: Eight dollars per hour.

How about:
Set up LANs and aerial fiber optics. Terminated category five and fiber optic backbones.

In general, it's usually good to edit past work experience down to two lines max.

It's completely conceptual.

Quantify everything.

How many computers did you upgrade? Over what period of time? How many telephones did you move? What was the total value of the systems you were responsible for?

How big a company is "large operation"?" Fortune 500?

Numbers, numbers, numbers.

If I were looking at your resume, I'd want to know why you have had 5 jobs in 3 years... I know IT is more transient than other industries but that still seems like a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. They are asking for past salaries on each job that is something that I added last night. Pa3lsvt, I use to have related coursework on my resume but I ran out of room and the company that I am aplying for they are aware of what courses Are at the college since they Endorse scholarships for that college. Redhawk, what can I say it's been a rocky road for me. The first job was temporary internship. Second job I was worrying about getting a job straight out of college and took the first one that came around. It was an hour 15min jog to work everyday and no I could not relocate on 9 dollars an hour. Third job it was a good job I was happy but then the economy slowed down and I was the low man on the pole so I was let go. I was jobless and my prior job was within the 90 day period so they didn't have to pay unemployment so I needed to find a job quick. Found Matrix, seemed like a good place but my main job was pulling cable which is ok but I didn't go to college to be a cable monkey. I made good money on government jobs were we would get payed 24 dollars an hour but I later found out that they were dipping into wage which was against the law so after so long I could not work for them anymore. Last job working in a school enviroment making good money really nice people everything is great except I only get 20 hours a week and no benefits. I need Insurance like medical and dental. So there is my work history in a nutshell.

All of the above suggestions are very good. It does seem to be a little cryptic to me. Don't be afraid of being specific. Take Matrix Integration as an example.

What did you move? Add? or change?

When I write a resume, I list what I did for each of my jobs. Doesn't matter if it's something little. Then I step through each item and put my tasks into sentences that make it sound like it was important and took skill.

Objective really isn't important. The place your applying to knows your objective already. If they need clarification, they'll ask you.
