I just got a Nintendo 64 over the weekend. What games are good? I need mostly kid games but I would like to enjoy it too.

I love mario kart 64!
that's the only game I own for my NIN64.
it is the most fun with 4 players at once.
friends and I would play it constantly in high school.

super smash bros. is another fun group game. for single player, try starfox 64

Well I just won two games in auctions on Ebay. I got MarioKart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing. So Starfox64 is kewl? I haven't had a chance to check it out yet.

If you like the original, you'll like the sequel. diddy kong racing is more colorful than mariokart, but they're basically the same; personally I like mariokart better. XG2 is a fun, fast racing game but the learning curve is steep and you need a memory card. Oh yeah, Goldeneye was a really fun multiplayer game also, if you like first-person shooters.

Super Smash Brothers is the best! Mario cart is fun too, especially battle mode. But definetely get Smash Brothers it fun for the kids and you. Oh, yeah more players = more fun.
