I may be purchasing a car which is in Miami. Has anyone ever done this. Its an incredible deal, which is why I'm even considering this, but also why I'm a bit sketchy.

Anyways curious how I should go about doing it. Is there a car service delivery? One which might work like an escrow service?

Also how could I gauruntee I get what I pay for???

Any info you think could be helpfull please let me know!

Thanks in advance!

Only way to guarantee what you get is to get a buyer's contract of some sort (If he agrees to it) that says that he guarantees the car for 1000 miles or 30 days, whichever comes first, or whatever deal he is comfortable with. Also, unless you go down there and inspect it yourself, you can't be sure of what you're getting.

Hey Justin

I bought my SVT in March. The car was in Phoenix and I wound up buying it sight unseen. Basically, go with your gut instinct. The car was pretty much as I expected it so there were no big surprises when I picked it up. Living in Ft Lauderdale, I must warn you...be careful of "good deals" from Miami wink If you do choose to buy it and have it delivered, do your homework with the auto carriers. I wasn't pleased with the company I dealt with. I forget the name off the top of my head but PM me if I can help.

Well the guy is pretty nice...He said he would be willing to drive it to Jacksonville and he could even get a family member to drive it all the way to NC!

I'm going to be in Charleston, SC for July 4th so I am going to see if he could drive it to Jacksonville for me to inspect it. I will have everything setup and if I like it I guess I will take it home. If he agree's to do this? Waiting on a response.

Now I only hope I can get everything setup at the bank. You see I haven't even tried selling my SVT yet and I'm banking that I will get $10-$11k for it.

Do you know if a bank will give me another loan before I have my other loan paid off? I plan on selling it if I get this other car. I guess I just need to see what they are willing to do.

Thanks for all the help!
