A dad walks into a market with his young son. The kid is holding a quarter. Suddenly, the boy starts choking, going blue in the face. The dad realizes the boy has swallowed the quarter and starts panicking, shouting for help.
A well dressed, attractive, but serious looking woman in a blue business suit is sitting at a coffee bar in the market reading her newspaper and sipping a cup of coffee. At the sound of the commotion, she looks up, puts her coffee cup down on the saucer, neatly folds the newspaper and places it on the counter, gets up from her seat and makes her way, unhurried, across the market.
Reaching the boy, the woman carefully takes hold of the boy's testicles and starts to squeeze, gently at first and then ever more firmly. After a few seconds, the boy convulses violently and coughs up the quarter, which the woman deftly catches in her free hand. Releasing the boy, the woman hands the coin to the father and walks back to her seat in the coffee bar without saying a word.
As soon as he is sure that his son has suffered no lasting ill effects, the father rushes over to the woman and starts thanking her saying, "I've never seen anybody do anything like that before, it was fantastic. Are you a doctor?"
"No," the woman replies. ......."Divorce Attorney"

Pre-nup...or HALF. I'd take the pre-nup. I don't see the problem with it anyway...Your money is yours, you earned it. If your wife really loved you, why would she want to take what's yours?

Of course, I think she has more money than me anyway, so I'd get half! Right?

Nah. From what I've been told by someone who has went through a divorce and kept most of his loot, offshore investments and accounts in certain South American and Asian countries. just make sure your significant other doesn't know about them in any way, shape or form. Even if she does or finds out about them, I think they can be protected from divorce settlements. It's all about taking advantage of the laws in other countries...
The guy was understandibly scant on details (even after 4 vodka tonics), but the idea seems to have merit.
Then again, he may have been full of it, but given the watch, shoes and cash he was throwing around, I doubt it.
Funny joke, BTH.

In MD the more wealthy half of the pair pays out the nose no matter what!
My buddy's brother got a divorce after he caught his wife of 8 years cheating on him with one of his partners! She still got half!
Good Joke!

If your wife really loved you, why would she want to take what's yours? Your money is NOT yours according to the court. Anything in a joint account at the time of the divorce is split halfway, no matter who earned it. And if your wife loved you, why would she want a divorce in the first place? :p Pre-nups, in my view, are a way of saying you feel that your marriage won't last. Why bother going through all the expense and bother of marriage if you're resigned that you'll fail at it?
