Cool. When my dad was stationed in Italy (US Army), we drove around in a euromarket blue Karmann Ghia that we bought off another serviceman.

My dad had a 1970 Ghia convertible. Tangerine orange with black vinyl top/interior. Damn thing was a chick magnet, I guess just because it was a cute convertible in an era (mid-80's) when the manufacturers weren't currently offering much along those lines. Slowest car I've ever driven, but it was more fun to drive than my Datsun 710.

Currently: '00 Altima SE and '02 Maxima SE

Coming up: '03 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6-speed

Cool. There aren't many old VWs on the roads in my town. Its neat to see that someone is saving one, even if I will never see it.

On another note, there was one crusing around Ogden a few years back that was sitting on 40s! He had put it on a shortened Toyota frame. Kinda cool, the body was trashed, but it could do really cool burnouts because of the 350 Chevy! eek

I got a 1970 Ghia at home. It runs, but it has become more of a lawn ornament over the last year. I'll try and find a pic to post.
