My truck(1980 F150, 302) has a crack in the exhaust manifold and I need to replace it. I want to try and do most of the work on this truck by myself so I'm wondering how hard it would be to replace this. If anyone has done something like this, please let me know what you thought about it. Thanks

I'd think it wouldn't be any harder than replacing headers on a Mustang 5.0...probably easier since there's more room to work in...

I would have figured that it would be about the same as replacing the same thing on another vehicle, but I've never done anything that big...just typical plugs and oil changes. I don't want to get in over my head...but if its not hard I'm sure I can get someone to help me out and 2 of us could attempt it...

If you have access to a lift, unbolt the cab and raise it off the chassis. Otherwise you'll break your back trying to get at them smile
