It's a sad thing when anyone dies, but i really don't think this man deserves a moment of silence. I remeber the riots that went on in Brooklyn when he went to prison, he was not worth it.

I had a bunch of friends that wore Free Gotti T-Shirts... Like he is a hero or something... Yeah, and OJ is not guilty.

I am with Nis on this one, hope Hell has a special reservation for him. I for one am sick of "celebrity criminals".

Just thankful that my tax dollars no longer have to pay for the care & feeding of that waste of flesh.

Leave it to people to say such negative things about someone when they have no idea the amount of good this this man also did for, his neighborhood, and the people who lived there. I'm sure his funeral will be televised and when you guys see the reaction of the community and the amount of people who attend it, maybe you'll begin to understand the amount of respect this man had. And speed demon, there's no reason to use the term that you have; you don't see people in here calling others spiks, and niggers, etc. because it's just not warranted, and is very distasteful. you should be ashamed of yourself.

Rumor I heard was that he was a murderer. Not true?? Can it be OK to murder if you give back to the community? OJ still has a lot of folks that love him..people love celebrities.

Remember, OJ wasn't convicted of killing Nicole and Goldman.

As far as Mr. Gotti goes....this man does deserve respect for what you guys dont have...thats balls!

Rackateering, Extortion, Tax Evasion, Murder, Assault & Battery, Drugs, and who knows how many other laws Gotti broke on a day to day basis.
The complete disregard for human life and other people's rights.

I hope a few hundred of his henchmen die from the battle for control of Gotti's family.

I put more effort in respecting a person who had money and fame and put it to use donating to charity or similar beneficial deeds.
