Maybe the fact that she annouced it on CNN had something to do with it?

I doubt she announced it to CNN herself.

My mistake. I misread the article. I though she made the announcment on CNN. Never mind.

I doubt anyone read it in a magazine. Didn't the article say she posed for the website.

My speculation on this is she had to go to Chicago for the photo shoot (or some other location) and whoever was watching her child let the cat out of the bag.

Or, if you read that she works at a radio station, there is a chance the station might use this as a publicity/ratings builder.

But that is only speculation.
