As huge Mets fan I have to agree with Dave, offensivly Piazza is well above average, but he can call a good game, doesn't let many balls past him, but can't throw a runner out for ****.

The mets blew totally their best chance at the series in 2000, and wiped out any chances later by their horrible showing last year. They are now just a decent .500 team. Right up there with the Braves. Two teams who will be in Serious need of regrouping after this season.
