I saw the results of the 2002 Insurance Institute's (I think?) 40mph off-set crash tests. I was very impressed. Cars have come a long way in occupant safety. All the cars that Dateline showed in their report got a "Good" rating, and on a lot of the cars, the windshield didn't even break! Some of the cars shown where Camry, Altima, TL, IS-ES 300, Saab.
