I want to compile a list of passwords.. u know.... nowadays every website you go you have to create an account and have a password... I tried to use the MS Excel Protection.. that thing doens't work for me... Any third party program that enables you to "lock a file" ?? I know Win2k Pro has Encryped File System(EFS) this allows you to encrypt file so that nobody else can open it. You must be running NTFS to use it though. About the MS Excel protection.. maybe I am using it wrong.. because everytime I password protect the workbook and spreadsheets and I close the file and open it again I am still able to SEE the document... it only prohibits me to EDIT. Wha I need is something to avoid people of seeing the contents of the file (either a DOC, TXT, XLS.. whatever.. I just want to keep a record of all my passwords..) Ok.. that is something already... but the problem is: everybody in the office can log on using hte same "USER" in everyone's computer.
