But, his bonus last year was only enough to buy half a porsche....now, he has to settle for merely making more than any of us....

You'd be surprised at the money some jobs pay. One guy I sorta know recently went to work in a nuclear power plant....he'll be clearing 6 figures. Education ?? Yeah, the US Navy as a Nuke on a Sub.
I wish I had joined the military instead of going back to college. All your knowledge is hands on instead of theory.

Engineering Technician @ Sun MicroSystems (+) Lieutenant in Army Reserves (+) EBay Sales (=) A good solid amount (~$62,000 before taxes). Not bad for being 23 going on 24. Everyone that ever told me that high school was important was sadly mistaken. skipped out my Senior year, went to community college for an Associates Degree, Joined the Army Reseves, and will be getting my Bachelors next year. Now add to that my 5 years os experience, and that equals me being highy desirable to companies.

OK...we've either got some serious money earners or a couple people pulling our legs...who put down making 'a buck 30 in a year...
Right now money is kinda tight...but in three to five years time (depending on the market and the number of houses I build) I should double what I make now each year on out...
