Hey Paul,
Is that a Mondeo? I thought your speedo would have Km/h in big and MPH is saller type.

Yes it is a Mony, us Brits are klinging on to our beloved MPH, none of that metric rubbish please! I do have SVT guages, brought back from my vacation last year, along with a SVT upper inlet manifold

The device I use is a inductive proximity sensor that SENSES the movement of the secondary cam. When the cam moves to within 2mm of the sensor, it detects and sends an output voltage to the LED. Simialr principe to the ABS sensor on the wheel hub. Also mine is bolted to the lower intake, not glued.
