Out a lunch today with a friend when I spot a Probe GT from the rear. An obvious ricer, but I didn't wanna be too quick to judge...

From the rear I see:
3" exhaust tip tacked on to a rather large can. ( I say tacked on b/c it was a shotty weld job: pointed up and crooked...)
Painted purple with a metallic fleck
Taillight covers ( don't guess he's discovered the Altezza lights yet... )
Greddy sticker across the rear window.

As we pull up to the side ( I've already put the 'ricer' label on him... ) I see:
Chromed mirror windows ( If they weren't illegal I don't know what WOULD be.. Maybe it was to hide his face in shame of driving such K-rap. )
More vendor stickers: Eibach, Weapon R, etc. etc.
And the ULTIMATE: GT sticker ( that was crooked ) with the inevitable R after it. Oh.. the R sticker was yellow  ... big surprise...
The front license plate holder wore a Superchips badge.

Oh! and if you're interested in this FINE automo-rice, there was a For Sale sign duct taped to the window. eek

The plates were from Florida... unfortunately, I couldn't see what county.

Grr... Gotta start carrying my camera with me from now on..

I had a similar experience when I saw a TSI talon the other day. The guy takes off from a light real quick and then blows a big black cloud from his exhaust and slows down.

I pull up and glance over to see two autometer phantom gauges in a pillar mount.

I wanted to ask him why he needed $300 worth of gauges to monitor his soon-to-be blown engine...

Um, I don't.
But the other day, I thought Jaws was coming through the parking lot. It was actually a grey Talon with yellow generic spash graphic on the side, white wheels, and a HUGE rice wing mounted high enough to not to block his rearward vision. It only blocked the sun.....

Here's a "modified" Delorean.
Modified by the factory, but well worth a look.
