Is it just me or Ice Hockey announcers are eons more professional and better spoken,,,,They dont run their tongues, they are quite humorous, and they seem a lot more fair towards both teams in a game,,,dont oogle over a certain star...
Plus the commercials with barry melrose are funny..
He's chaaarging!!!...(add scottish accent)...

Yeah, everything about hockey is better than other sports! GO SHARKS GO... I mean, GO LEAFS GO! Forgot my Sharks got edged out.

Even though I am stuck with the Hawks, at least I get Pat Foley, who is teriffic, and will let the fans know when he's unhappy with the home team. And, yes, they are way more humorous than other announcers. Just think of Tim McCarver on baseball, or Bill Walton (DUH) on basketball. Sheesh.

Basketball anouncing is horrendous...mainly because they are pompous ex players, ignorant of the english language and etiquette....Its like watching 13 year old's on TV. They dont really need Bill Walton, Barkeley, or anyone like that...The only one I liked was Tommy Heinson,,,and I even forgot what he said that got him in trouble with network TV
