Hey man....how's it going? I was going to call you Friday night but I lost your number somewhere. I opened up my secondaries alot more yesterday. I can tell a pretty good difference at about 3500K I don't know how much I opened them up but I was just wondering if you can open them up anymore...I mean I could actually tell a difference and I am kind of curious about opening them alittle more. I know I went more than 3/4 and my car is running so much better. I am afraid that if I mess with it anymore knowing how my luck is it will start running horrible. But before I do anything I was going to talk to you to see what you thought. I am going to the ford dealer today to get a new TB Gasket and all the manifold gaskets so I can attempt to do the cleaning process...lol

hey whats up man. I didn't end up going to the autocross this weekend. My ass is going to stay at home for awhile to save money. My advice to you would be pin the secondaries open all the way and see what that does. You do this by getting some zip ties find the linkage the pushes your scodaries open and zip tie them all the way open . You will have to put the zip tie around over by your front cover that says 2.5 duratec I know there is a pic around here I will find i and let you know. If that works when you take your intakes off just pull the little butterflies out of the lower intake and that will take care of them totally but I would only do this if pinning them all the way open withthe zip tie does help out more. Some times you loose low end but I heard you really could feel the diffrence up top . I will be busy tonight dropping my engine but just keep me posted through the boards. later on

So this picture shows you how to pinn your IMRC? I was reading on this earlier today and I seen this pic. I was also reading on 3liter posts and David Z and DemonSVT mentioned something about this....about pinning the IMRC. So this is what they are talking about. DemonSVT said by opening them up and pinning them he could tell a really good difference. But you think I should do what you said with the pinning and then I should open them up alot more from the screw adjustment? But I appreciate all your help.

Just go ahead and pin them open like the pic yeah its going to throw a CEL but you can feel weather you like it or not. Got my tranny out tonight all together it took 5 hours with three guys. I think it took an hour just to get the car high enough on blocks. I will show pics in the next few days.

Ok... I need to know which way to turn the screw that opens the secondaries. I opended it more or atleast I thought I did and it's running crappy. I adjusted the screw to where is is fixing to be hiting the top of the spring. In this case if you are looking at the screw all you can see is the head of the screw. So the question is now...does the screw need to be turned the other way or leave it where I had it last time

Turn the screw clockwise to were it has more preload on the spring meaning screwing it tighter in. Hope that helps! Give me a ring if you can't figure it out. Later on
