STS is Street Touring Street tire. its for 4 seater, non-sports car based, non-turbo, under 3.1L vehicles. You are allowed different wheels and suspension upgrades, intake and exhaust up to the cats, and basically every other bolt on modification you can think of, but you must be on street tires. The Contour is a great canidate for the class. like Cindy was saying, Chris placed 1st for the year in his and it was completly stock. For the first few events, youll most likely wanna run in the Novice class. Youll still be in STS, but your times are indexed with the others running Novice.
