Redline actually 7500 rpm in my case since my chip bumps up the redline The SVT motor makes power all the way to 7000, so might as well use it.

A few rpms before fuel cut. like 2... Right to redline, but not close enough to hit it.

I had a chip put in that should have bumped the fuel cut-off. So how do I know they really raised it up to 7500, just push the gas till it drops in power?

From 2nd, fuel cut off is just the right amount of forward motion to depress the clutch and shift to 3rd

My A'pexi shows 7,5xx, rev limiter adjusted on chip program. Most dyno graphs show that SVT's make max hp around 6,750 to 6,900(haven't seen a dyno with a raised limiter), but as Demonsvt has stated before "Shifting at a higher rpm will leave you in the sweet spot of the next gear". I can vouch for this since 1st to 2nd gear change on my car leaves about 15 feet of rubber with 215/45/17 Nitto's.
