We got started around 6pm ~ 6:30 all was going well until it was time. Man ver. Tranny we kick, jerked, pushed, and humped it. 1 hour or so later i noticed the tranny moved back alil and "What is that ? huh its a dust cover in love with the flywheel and the tranny" Took off dust cover and the tranny landed as planned on the tires....
The clutch was the problem.......
at this time it was 11pm........

Yea we pretty much did everything but torch it to get it out until Paul noticed the dust shiled covering the flywheel!
Yep it was the clutch disc that kersploded! One ofhte springs came out of the disc and go wedged up in there! We'll post some pics soon!
Got the Flywheel resurfaced today and it is ready for re-installation! The clutch should be in this week and hopefully we can take another friday night (or another week night) to get it all back togethor!
So all in all it's just gonna cost me $50 plus a couple of dinners for Paul and a real good garage scrubbing for pauls garage. Now I just gotta start saving up for a header and new Exhaust (gotta nasty leak somewhere that needs to get fixed)
Thanks again Paul for the use of your garage and also thanks to everyone else for the help/support!!!

Well a little update for those of keeping score at home. Paul says he was hurt by the tranny and to be honest I was kinda sore as well on saturday morning! But the flywheel has been resurfaced adn the clutch should be in sometime this week (Hopefuly by wednesday) and the truck should be back on the road terrorizing innocent bystanders, and getting hung up on speedbumps just like everything was right with the world again!
