It feels good to have a lawyer at my beck and call
Anyway, I told her about the deal on the wheels I bought for James. She said the first thing to do is try to write him a letter from her office to hope that the dispute will then be settled. If it isn't, it would be extremely hard to try to serve him to go to court in another state, and sometimes harder to get people to pay up. She said we could go as far as turning him in for internet fraud with the IFCC, again, would only put a warrant out in the event he ever got picked up for anything else, and may still not be extradicted.
Moral of the story, the lawyer said laws pertaining internet sales and fraud are very underdeveloped. Be very careful when dealing with online purchases. Use escrow or other means by which you can get your money back if the goods are no good. :p
I screwed up, but I trusted. I was sent pictures of good items and received broken ones. BE CAREFUL!
Also, don't mess with me or I'll sick my lawyer on you! :p
