why not get a wider wheel. instead of the stock 6.5 wide, go with a 7, 7.5, or 8 wide.

...and yes, I did SEARCH first before asking.

i had them on my car for a lil bit cuz i needed adapters to make my rims fit my car ....which is basically like a spacer....i didn't like it at all and i totally suggest just buying wider tires...do no get the spacers...they r dangerous...u never know when they will give away and your tire will come flying off....i had rubbing issues and all kinds of headaches....i gave my spacers away that is how much i hated them

Wider rims and/or wider tires are not the answer. First of all there are limits on how wide a tire you can put on any particular rim. Even if a wider tire can be mounted on a particular rim, the extra "bulge" beyond the rim may create other problems, like too much sidewall flex.

Also, a wider rim may not do anything because it also depends on the offset of the wheel.

I believe spacers can be used, if done right.
