Has anyone put on any wheel spacers on their car to increase the track and bring the wheels out more flush with the body? Would this change the alignment? Would this put any more stress on any part of the suspension?

TIA

Henry

I wouldn't consider touching that mod with a 10' pole! Unless you can find someone like H&R that has a spacer that bolts to the studs and then has it's own studs for the wheel, that's DISASTER eek waiting to happen my friend. You'll put way to much strain on the wheel studs and after awhile they'll snap. Let's just hope you're not going a HUNDRED Plus when it happens wink

You can get 5mm spacers for our cars through Tirerack. Those and the right offset wheel allows me to fit 245/45/16's! eek

Unless you're gonna do it the proper way like I mentioned, don't do it. I speak from experience! The risk of stud breakage is very likely. It may not happen immediately but if you drive hard enough it eventually will, I mean unless you're gonna use a 1mm Spacer laugh
