James Smith Member J Joined: May 2000 Posts: 150 La Grange, Ky, USA	No not actually. In fact it helps out a great deal. I learned about this through my Cisco CCNA, A+, and MCSE courses. All you do is download the program, run it, restart and thats it. I have had my DSL clocked at upwards of 1,254Kbps. That's over 23 times faster than a conventional modem. Originally, before registry download, I was getting somewhere in the range of 500 to 600 Kbps. Not bad for a free download. Also, I have not had a problem out of it. Ever. When life throws you lemons.....Pucker up.
